Bharat Markets AI: transparent research for Indian markets
Bharat Markets AI is a research tool for Indian retail investors. It tracks roughly 3,000 NSE listed stocks and India's AMFI-registered mutual-fund universe, distils each one into a plain-language view — price history, fundamentals, news flow and a 0–100 prediction score with bear/base/bull scenario ranges — and shows its reasoning instead of hiding it behind a black-box number.
The problem we are solving
Most Indian market research falls into two camps: expensive broker reports written for institutions, or free screeners that drown you in 200 columns of numbers. Both make it hard for an individual investor to answer a simple question — why does this stock or fund look attractive or risky today? We built Bharat Markets AI around explanations: every prediction carries the signals that produced it, in words, with weights.
What you can do here
A daily market view with top predictions across four horizons (1 month, 6 months, 1 year, 5 years) and sector context.
Five-year price history with IST-timezone tooltips, fundamentals (P/E, P/B, ROE, RoCE, debt/equity, margins, dividend yield), growth screeners and news per stock.
Real NAVs for India's AMFI-registered schemes, fund quality indicators and growth screeners.
A rule-based model combines momentum, trend, fundamentals, valuation and news sentiment into a score you can audit. The full method is documented in Methodology.
A built-in chat that can look up any stock or fund, summarise its prediction reasoning and compare alternatives.
How the data flows
Prices and fundamentals for stocks are pulled from Yahoo Finance's public NSE data; mutual fund NAVs and metadata come from mfapi.in, a public mirror of AMFI's official NAV database; headlines come from public news feeds. A scheduled pipeline refreshes candles after each NSE session, regenerates predictions before the market opens, and ingests news daily. Historical coverage is five years. Where a data source fails or a scheme is unrated, we show that honestly rather than inventing numbers.
What we are not
We are not SEBI-registered investment advisers, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell. The platform is informational: it organises public data and statistics so you can research faster. See our Terms and Privacy Policy for the legal details.
Running costs & how the site is funded
The service is free to use. Hosting, data infrastructure and email delivery cost real money, so the site displays unobtrusive third-party advertising (Google AdSense) to cover them. We do not sell data or accept payment for higher prediction scores — the model has no idea which companies advertise here.
