Bharat Markets AI ("we", "our", the "service") operates the website bharat-markets.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By using the service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account data. To sign in we collect your email address. Authentication uses one-time codes (OTPs) sent by email; we do not ask for or store passwords. We keep a secure record of your login sessions.
• App activity. Stocks and mutual funds you mark as favourites, and basic interaction data needed to run the app (for example, your selected horizon and language).
• Market data. Public market information about listed Indian stocks and mutual funds (prices, fundamentals, NAVs, news headlines) that we aggregate and display. This data is about securities, not about you.
• Technical data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) used for security, rate limiting and troubleshooting.

2. How we use information

• To create your account, send OTP emails and keep your session secure.
• To show you market data, scenario estimates and your saved favourites.
• To keep the service safe, prevent abuse and fix problems.
• To display advertising so the service can remain free to use.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Cookies and advertising

We use cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We also use third-party advertising:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info.
• Where required by law, we obtain consent for non-essential cookies before setting them.

4. Email communication

We send transactional emails only: OTP codes for sign-in and essential service notices. We do not send marketing emails, and we do not share your email address with advertisers.

5. Data sharing

We share data only with the processors needed to run the service: an email-delivery provider (Amazon SES) for OTP mail, a hosting provider (AWS) for the application and database, and Google for advertising as described above. We may disclose information if required by law.

6. Data retention

Account and favourites data are kept while your account is active. OTP codes expire within minutes of issue. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security purposes. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time (see section 8).

7. Security

We apply industry-standard measures: encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed session tokens, rate-limited authentication, and least-privilege access to production systems. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your data.

8. Your rights and contact

You may access, correct or delete your personal data, or ask questions about this policy, by emailing [email protected]. We respond to reasonable requests within 30 days.

9. Changes

If we change this policy materially, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. See also our Terms of Service.
